This is an "Evolution for Dummies" movie, except that people will be dumber having watched it, if they believe the movie's premise. Someone needs to make a definitive movie about the lies that people have been told about religion for all of human history. Religion doesn't make money, if people don't believe its lies, and lies are all that it offers. The movie is a joke. Didn't Ben Stein already make this movie? Religion and "god" belief is silly.

2 - Don't patronise me either, Im not the one dodging the evidence & making up my own definitions to validate my claims. How can you talk to me about credibility when you're a glib talking sales exec who opposes something the entire scientific community regards as an unequivocal fact, i'd say you're the one with the fading credibility, especially when you refuse to even acknowledge the evidence i've given whilst offering nothing in the way of refuting evidence.

It's the dictionary definition lol. If you wish to invent new meanings for words then this may get a little confusing. We've so far established that you have your own meaning for the word 'evolution' & now 'faith'. I'm afraid it's not up to you what words mean so let's please stick with their literal definition as stated in the dictionary.

Are you telling me that hundreds of thousands who are part of the Church of England don't either?? I could go on but i've made my point. You're being ridiculous & you really ought get your facts right before asserting such spurious nonsense.

Now instead of simply saying you can name several pieces of empirical evidence that don't support evolutionary theory, why don't you put your money where your mouth is & state it?? Or is it all about the book sales?

Are you actually claiming that everybody who accepts evolution is an atheist?? Now lets forget the fact that many of the scientific community have faith & also accept evolution (check out Donexodus2 on here, hes a Christian microbiologist whos videos utterly destroy creationism & demonstrate why its so damaging to society & Christianity alike) , let's take the Pope, are you trying to tell me that he, along with a billion Catholics don't actually believe in god?

Science was encouraged by the church as long as it served the purposes and teachings of the church. The explosion of science in the west came when the influence of the church had waned.

@lizazoon I think both sides need to stop ad hominem attacks and begin to listen to each others' point of view. But people like Dawkins are doing a disservice to that objective. He makes atheists think religious people have no evidence for their faith. He equates faith with blind faith. He is wrong.
