Bad move.Tails makes some of the bosses much easier.Also,if you have a second controller,a friend can control Tails behind you.

Why did they up it to 7? simple, because of dbz. the creator loved dbz. 7 dragonballs..7 emeralds..don't believe me? super sonic..when he transforms, it sounds the same as goku when he transforms
