@x4alifetimex That's a good strategy - problem is, Terry and the guide know what you look like prior to the race - they do not know what you are wearing though. They go over the application video & submitted photos before day 1.

Think about it: No one so far has been able to evade Mantracker at the start by not letting him pick up their tracks and disappear into the forest or atleast get a serious lead (conveniently timed clues or spot-on guesswork). On the other hand, NO ONE so far has been captured on the first day, no matter how slow, stupid or inexperienced they are in the outdoors. Seems like rubber-banding to Me (artificially creating tension by leveling the opposing sides).
