i love this country but theres people that has served this country for liberty but have to still suffer
we need to realize we are the only western country without healthcare for people that go bankrupt trying to pay for the surgeries and treatments that are required
people need to realize that the 1% of the country are running the country and not the common man
revolution is needed

i was just thinking about this song today while watchin the damn news. everybody is broke today and it hurts to see people having to sell their homes. that i know never would have in the past. but this country is strong and i believe there is better days ahead. i tell todays youngsters that its their era take a stand and do their best with it. god bless america. and please bring our soldiers home safe soon.

It seems like every world power has its turn in the limelight and then after a while has to step down to a lesser role. I wonder who will succeed us? China, maybe?

What are you nuts? Lessor role is not an option, other world powers want to exterminate US and our way of life. No country has ever just stepped down, they were either overcome by another in battle or crumbled under there own Socialism which never works .... I believe in American Exceptionalism ! God Bless America , God Bless our troop and thank God I have been born in a country that reconizes our God given right to Life ,Liberty ,and the Pursuit of happiness. God given, NOT government given!

I'm 54 and this sure rings true.....Before cell phones...when you left home , either in a car or walking, you were on your own save for a pay phone( if you had a dime) or knocking on doors if you were down on your luck.
Kinda like going out into the forest alone ...think about it!!!

Merle has no equals. This is pure gold. I love his tribute to Bob Wills best of all, but this one breaks your heart. I hope he lives for 20 years more, and I hope his voice is heard loud and clear. Fight on. For all you longtime country fans, do you remember Carl Perkins singing Would a Matchbox Hold My Clothes? That was my theme song for a while...

There are EXCEPTIONS to every rule. But I'm curious. You are 26??? The car is OLDER than you. So, the car was 17 yrs old BEFORE you ever got it. No telling HOW much work was done to it in those 17 years. LOL
