"Meet me in Central Park" or "The $3 Assassin" made to practice the "parallel action" storytelling technique. This was my first film for the class "Sight and Sound: Film" in the Kanbar institute of film and television at New York University.
Turn your "brightness" all the way up for this one. I thought it was a bright idea to film half of the story in a tunnel, I didn't worry about the fact that the light meter said nothing but "EU" (insufficient light) the entire time we were there. :P
The basic story is that this girl is attacked by a guy in a ski mask while walking through a tunnel to meet a guy in the park. And then it turns out that the guy was actually expecting to meet the assassin the whole time. Yeah, it's dumb.
made on 16 mm film.
