Ashley Beedle's a production powerhouse and Horace Andy's a legend. This project's hit and miss but it certainly doesn't deserve the hater-aid being poured on it by some you vitriolic idiots. Music's about passion, communication and expression. And these guys are doing it for all the right reasons.
Those people who wanted their money back at that show don't know what a legend this man is. I'd love to see him just once in my lifetime.
You can't blame these guys for wanting Horace for their project. The man is 58 years old and still has the voice. He obviously enjoys working in the studio and I appreciate that these guys recognize what a special artist Horace is.
You said the release looks awful. Who knows, you may be right.. but it's Horace Andy!!!
I'll be HAPPY to buy this release!! Even if the production is lame. I am a collector of Horace Andy records. He is my favorite male singer of any genre of music.
I have over twenty lps and CDs. I can't get enough of the guy. Nowadays I will only buy a reggae album if it is Horace. He has so much material, too.
Horace has done stuff that is not reggae, the Massive Attack stuff (I never bought those) an R & B flavored version of "Always and Forever," etc.
sooo weak!!! leave horace alone!!! "reggae's the butter" if you want to make a "modern" reggae album, work with a modern artist!! Horace is a don but that release looks awful... (they did a show in Oxford last month and over 50 % of people asked for their money back)
this is confusing : i was expecting the heliocentrics Inspiration Information !
