Yes, true, lots of batch variations. There are a few batches per year for many frags. I hunted out for a while for a good Aventus batch.
But to add to this, there are tonnes of fakes (of MI, GIT, OS), mostly in the 4oz, be careful where you buy.

@TheFashionbugs Unfortunately, no it isn't. It is an older Yamaha DTX 2.0. They don't make that line anymore but compared to the Yamahas of today, it would be between an Xplorer and an Xpress.
