  • I download music, and then, if I like it, I buy it, and I go see the band's shows, and I buy their merchandise. I wouldn't have heard of many bands that I now consider my favorites if it weren't for downloading.

  • I like to pirate music but when I love a band as much as Radiohead there's no other choice than me having to buy their music because it's so good!

  • @drpeppa2357

true. most radio stations only play annoying commercial shit music.

  • @Inrxz dude way to point out his stuttering problem

  • i think people download for the obvious reasons, its free, simple and fast; but also its nice to be able to sample and listen to songs, FULL songs, before buying cds to be sure you really want it! I mean who wants to buy a new cd when the songs could be shit?

On a side note, i hate itunes and the like. paying for mp3s is retarded imo. 10-12$ for a whole album when you can go to the store and get a hard copy for the same price maybe a few dollars more?? ridiculous!

  • HOW DARE YOU! you should know better than to have talent and integrity in this industry. youre making the rest of us look bad just because you are objectively better than we are. for shame thom yorke of radiohead, for shame.

  • The music label's business model has been made obsolete by the internet. Everyone is sharing music whether they like it or not. What the labels SHOULD be doing is making a NEW business model work rather than fighting the world for domination of their tired old system where they squeezed music lovers 4 every cent they had.

Bands and artists should have ever only been paid for touring/live gigs. This whole idea of "paying to hear a copy of a song" (you never OWN) has always been downright THEFT.

  • @Tips247 don't, they're nothing wrong with it, feel the way you want to feel.

  • He's right, I've found more amazing bands online than that slow annoying circles that radio offers.
