The Republicans picked the most unelectable candidate since another dinosaur by the name of Bob Doyle was nominated. This old coot John McCain was never going to win and the GOP had to know this!  What a disgraceful turncoat this man is! He touted himself as a Conservative, what a joke! I pray that this old senile warhorse is booted from office in the next election!

Oh and you're a medical doctor? You have the knowledge, experience and degree to determine that he is senile?

I thought the gay marriage thing was not double speak - he appeared to be saying that ceremonies and civil unions, of some sort are okay, but that the union between those of the same sex is not the same as marriage. The iraq thing was bad though.
