An old blues by Blind Willie Johnson.
My arrangement was inspired by Patrick Sky's 1960's recording of the song.

Partial lyrics:
"You're gonna need somebody on your bond
You're gonna need somebody on your bond
When it's late, about midnight,
Death comes sneaking in the room,
You're gonna need somebody on your bond."

Guitar tuning is D major: D A F-sharp D A D (treble to bass).

  • Good tune. Sounds like it's being played in some sandstone arroyo...at night. And, would it have killed ya' to re-edit the video so the last 3 seconds weren't cut off. :-)

Really needs the ringing, fade-away ending. Really.

  • Yeah... you are right.. the problem was I messed it up at the end and was too tired to do it again, just couldn't get it perfect.
