Carved Soap Prison Art by Red Hot Handyman Tony

Tony served many years in San Quintin. While there he carved detailed soap diaramas and self portraits. He became an adept sculptor and mastered traditional prison art forms like smoke pack weaving, tiolet paper sculpture, drawing, and soap sculpting. He now welds in his Oakland Studio.

I have a cardboard ship from a friend who was in. they use everything and anything they got. the guards get to understand that on a long stretch of time, you have to find SOMETHING to keep you sane in an insane place. he would get smoke-pack foil from everyone in his block and roll it up and burnish it to make 'chinese stress balls'.
