Animal acts in circuses have been banned in the UK/ EU since the 1980s.You can see why. This is not the exception - this is the reality of animal training in any circus. Ringling Brothers included. And it will continue for as long as the public demand to see "cute" animal acts when they go to the circus.

Animal cruelty at circuses is HORRID. However, there are responsible circuses. Are you absolutely sure that this was at Carson & Barnes Brothers Circus? I don't think they have tigers and bears. Also, research all the good things they do for the endangered Asian elephants through the endangered ARK foundation. (See related youtube videos.) In all aspects of animal care and safety, this circus exceeds all federal animal welfare standards set by the USDA under the Animal Welfare Act.
