Well, my weight didn't go up, so I wasn't too put off by the lack of weight loss after being off Phentermine for a week and pretty much doing nothing but lying on the couch for at least 5 days. ...

I am glad to hear that you are feeling better.. When I took my phentermine and then had to get off it because I have been sick as well I still have the energy.. But bad news for me I gained 5lbs I think that's right... :)

Sorry about your 5 lbs, but I bet that is probably water weight, so you should lose it very quickly once you start the pills again.
