I wrote a story called "The Blue Fairy of Dark Forest" about a fairy who couldn't speak and was shunned by the others in the fairy glenn. She went off to the big city where she saw a street dancer that tap danced and was in awe thinking she could learn this dance as her own form of communication since she couldn't sing as fairies do. After hanging and learning to tap she went back into the dark forest. She stayed a distance from the glen to hone her craft. One day she heard screaming coming from the Glenn and went to see what was wrong. When she got there the big Gulumphy gnomes were chasing the fairies around the glenn. Gnome like eating fairies. She didn't know what to do so she jumped up on a big hollow log and began to tap. The hollow log amplified her tapping and the gnomes started screaming in pain. It seems the sound was harmful to them and they could not stay. The little blue fairy became very popular and lived happily ever after and taught all the other fairies to tap. This is part of the music I wrote and recorded for the story.
