the man is basing his psychological perspective froma freudian point of view. Beleive it or not, there are still psychologists that use the freudian paradigm (a.k.a psychoanalytic paradigm). it's very silly, the psychoanalytic psychaitrists have a massive extreme bias to always blame mental illnesses on the parents. They even blamed the women's rights movement on causing schizophrenia too.

So...wait...he claims to be formerly gay, and then claims to be able to cure other gay men by cuddling with him? (As shown in the video of his "technique.")
Well...that's awesome. I imagine that a man who was formerly addicted to sex could serve to help cure a lot of women with the same problem by regularly having sex with them.
