Johnny has had so many hair styles, and ALL of them look fabulous, I think he has had the same hair stylist for years......He would look gorgeous matter what..even his clothes are immaculate..:>)

A special gift to us all is when Johnny sings the lyrics to "Two for the road".
Here Mancini plays only the melody. In my 50th.-anniversary-dvd he sings
that lyrics. And it gives all of us who are in our 60ties and 70ties a specal meaning.
I am sure it is like this for Johnny also, because he sings the lyrics with a lot of genuine feelings at that concert. I feel like crying every time he sings it "for me".

Hallo cybernautev. Henry Mancinis favorites must be Johnny Mathis and Andy Williams. They sings Mancini-melodies exellent. Johnny is of course my favorite of all. He is so young and sweet on this video. One can see his shyness in the presentation of him in the beginning. I could listen to him forever, the whole day through, and do nothing else. Watching this footage brings back so many memories of being a young kid in FL. My mom is a HUGE Johnny Mathis fan. I grew up listening to all of his great hits...Wonderful, Wonderful...Misty, Twelth of Never and the Christmas album. Although I was a baby when this footage was filmed, I definitely can relate to the music because I was born into that era. I'm so glad that my parents have taste and class. So many people do not realize how this type of music shaped our American culture.

My favorite song from Johnny Mathis. Moon River...thank you for posting this video for all the world & myself to enjoy. There will never be another voice as lovely as Johnny's. He is surely a gift from God for all of us to enjoy. Thank you Johnny for sharing yourself to all the world. A once in a lifetime voice. Let us never lose it. I just saw Johnny Mathis in Cleveland, Ohio in Nov. 2008. Wonderful concert. I got my picture taken with Johnny & will relish it forever.
