A Diesel fuel bath can be useful to clean up metal and machine parts. This video shows our homemade unit and how it can be used to clean out the sludge and metal remnants from the Chrysler van's oil pan.

  • does that drain or does it recycle the deisle

  • @yosefwanger It is a constant endless loop system.

  • My only question is what do you do with the diesel when it becomes too fouled to use?

  • @mrRhwalden I think that any left over heavy particulates get strained out. Grease and stuff tends to dissolve in the fuel. I don't know if the fuel has ever been changed, but I'm not closely involved with the operation of this unit.

  • What was the big red vehicle in the inside portion?

  • @Juggla17 Two grain trucks are in there--one is a single rear axle Chevrolet and the other is a Mack straight truck.
