@BIGCRAZYREDNECK4X4 I grew up in Andover, I used to live at the intersection of Independence Hill and State Route 417 in the big green house. I can remember when Andover Fire Dept. was a lot quicker then they are now and that was back in the 80's and early 90's. As for fire dept's in Allegany County, Wellsville has Andover beat, I miss Andover and to move back there from Virginia. Just saying that Andover should step it up a little more and be the fire dept. they once was in the 80's.

@trainsofamerica It's a barn... Clearly it was fully consumed inside, and likely gained too much headway before anyone called 9-1-1. You can never blame the firemen when a barn burns down, they're large, old, have unpredictable contents. The only safe barn fire, is an empty barn, that's been knocked down and set afire. I hate going to these types of calls, you never know what's going to blow up, or how long it'll take to put out.

This looks like the barn going north on Route 21 just after leaving the village of Andover, I didn't hear that it burned....now living in VA and don't hear much new from Andover anymore, of course Andover Fire Dept get there late as usel they can never get there quick except for when certified traffic controler burnt down, but 9 times of of 10 it's to late to save the building.
