Roxas...are you there?

My saddest vid yet ;_;

Yeah, well...

This is set during the moments after Axel's self-sacrifice. As he lies there, fading away, he wonders (aloud, in this case) if Roxas knows what's happening to him; if he's there watching him somewhere, somehow. He reflects on the good and bad times he had with Roxas, and on how he admires his strength and his kind heart.
And maybe, Roxas really is watching...

OK, you're probably wondering: Why on Earth would I make such a sad video?
I know, I wondered that myself...
I mean, I cry every time I listen to this song, and I cried while making this too (and this isn't my first sad video)...I'm a glutton for punishment, I swear...
I guess it has to do mainly with the fact that I find deep emotion (especially relating to Axel and Roxas) to be a beautiful thing.

Eh, a good explanation as any, I guess... -_-

Anyway, this song was practically BEGGING to be made into an Axel tribute video. I imagined that very scene when I first listened to it, which is why it makes me cry EVERY TIME.
(Even writing this description's making me weepy...)

C'mon, look at these lyrics (copied them from the CD booklet):

Honestly, whatever Kelly Clarkson was going through when she wrote this song, I hope she's OK now...

Forgive the clip repetition, as you can see, it was necessary here (and most of it was for lip-sync, the lip-sync was the hardest part of making this, emotionally and technically).

Oh, and about the song itself, the track is titled "Irvine" but it includes two songs, the first of which was used here. (I don't like the second one very much) Why it's called Irvine I don't know...I made up this title for this vid because I don't think "Axel and Roxas - Irvine" wouldn't have been very good...
Well, just for the sake of reference, I'm still calling the song "Irvine", despite my cutting out of its second song (of which, I can only assume, could be titled "Shivers").

Like I said, give this vid a chance, it's sad, but in a beautiful way =)

I have to credit AxelObcessed for that one, since I found it when I came upon her photobucket album (I know, hard to believe, but yeah, it was in there). It wasn't drawn by her, obviously :P it looks like it came from deviantart originally.

This song (or part of song) sent shivers down my spine and it made me feel ready to cry. ):

But it was beautifully done. I really enjoyed watching this, and even though there was a repetition of clips that was fine. It's hard to lipsync, and you always manage to do it amazingly well. So good job on this! I enjoyed watching this. *nods* And I hope you continue to do well with your videos, no matter how many people comment on them. As long as you know people DO love your videos. Irvine, CA, was Kelly's last stop on her Hazel Eyes tour, and she had a really bad mental breakdown there. she apparently wouldn't even smile during the concert. the song is basically a prayer and she wrote it in the bathroom of her hotel room.
