I just HATE it when people say he's a shit guitarist. If he was, he wouldn't have been brought in to replace Adrian. I reckon the main reason people don't like him is because he's not a member of the 'classic' line-up. To those who do say that, you're not a real Maiden fan, and, well, kindly

@oscarcr80 what the fuck are you on about outsider? he replaced adrian who decided to leave on his own thoughts.
He was asked to join and was asked to stay. So he has just as much right to be in the band as any other member does. He has also contributed to some of maidens greatest songs.

Dance of Death, The Talisman, The Alchemist, The Legacy, Out of the Silent Planet and The Edge of Darkness are the best songs written by Janick.

In conclusion i prefer the old albums but i m astonished to have lived an "master of metal group" (r)évolutions during 25 years and the complication who they ve lived (bruce solo carrer and departure, jeannick integrationetc..) have permitted to create the more important group of the hystory of rock...
