  • Talks like a Saleman..too much...

  • @zerofrindz That's because I am a salesman. ...... Thanks for the compliment.

  • Oh and one of my customers who's also became a good friend of mine is an avid gun collector and also does competition shooting with his pistols and assault rifles gave me a hogue handall finger grooved grip and I put it on and it makes my sig pro feel even better in the hands.

  • @RoadHardOffRoad Those handalls are great on a gun like the Sip Pro

  • @RoadHardOffRoad

My biggest problem with the SIG (other than being brand specific for some reason on ammo) is the grips or rather lack of it---It's too short for me. I think it could be that SIG shortened the grips to accommodate the 10 round max clip out in California. The Sig is balanced but doesn't grip well (grip too short).

  • @Armydicked Your dead right on the frame/grip size. I have slammed my pinky doing mag reloads more than once. I do a mag change now with my pinky sticking straight out. Looks gay as hell but it beats getting a blood blister..

  • Sig pro is not worth that price a glock is.

  • @SINBAD396 informative to say the least... a lot of good information from a real end user.

  • The frame of the Sig Pro is well designed with more than adequate metal inserts for solid slide to frame lock up. Also, the Sig Pro is hammer fired versus striker fired meaning you have re-strike capability in the event of a hard primer. With striker ignited handguns, you must retract the slide after each trigger pull to reset the striker to the firing position. Most of the high profile elite military units do not carry striker fired handguns.

  • Economy of scale is the reason for the lower price and market perception. The French Police contract was the largest buying agreement for a pistol since WWII. It stands to reason Sig can sell it at a lower price point relative to competing brands in the civilian market. Other makes which will go unmentioned command the lion's share of the polymer frame commerce. However, compare the design and workmanship of the frame as well as the machining quality of the slide to the Sig Pro.
