YES there were italian and jewish mafias and irish mafias that controlled casinos and other places but the story from good fellas is not 100% accurate is it? i mean did everything that you sow in casino and goodfellas happen? NO but city of god is ALL based on true story

The Mafia themselves as Cosa Nostra did in fact made las vegas & then throw the 60's & mid 80's, they lost las vegas from the FBI because they were stealing money from the casinos. Actually they weren't stealing money but taking money for protection. Las Vegas now looks like Disney world. Before that, the mafia itself controlled las vegas.
Goodfellas is about 90% accurate truth. Some parts of the movie was mostly false.
