2003 Honda Pilot Acceleration whine issue

For the last 30k miles, everytime you press the gas from 30 miles per hr to about 65 when the sound goes away, the car will whine, you will have to turn you speakers up. there are no check engine lights, all the maintance is up to date.. got no freaking clue.. so I'll be posting this everywhere.

I finally replaced the fluid and torque converter drove it for about 10k miles and seemed to do ok with no whine noise, sold it and bought a new BMW.

Yeah I just hit 110k miles today, replaced the tranny fluid still the same noise, honda still thinks to replace the tranny, I noticed some hesitation when pressing and depressing on the gas, but its been doing that since I bought it.. Been hearing posts that it could be the tourque converter. Everything works no codes, or leaks or vac leaks. the VTM-4 works, tried it this winter for the heck of it.. Who knows anyone have a fix yet?

Yeah I tell everyone its a supercharger! I guess its common in these 2003 honda pilots, I dont know why they dont recall them.. The pilot drives fine.. I'll just keep it till the wheels fall off, Ive never had problems with it, except for my BRAND NEW Audi breaking down all the time, gotta love german cars!!

It's the transmission... Perfectly normal and ourz does it too...

I have a 2003 Pilot, 126,000 miles, with the same issue. Transmissions are obviously a weak point on these.

lol my tsx does the exact same thing! shop said it's just the transmission making that noise. when I give ppl a ride, they're like "what's that noise? it sounds cool.." im like yeaaa it's a supercharger whine LMAO

My friend has a 2001 Honda Accord V6 with 289,000 miles on it and her car makes the same noise at any given point throughout the rev range. Mechanic said it was just a noise that the transmission makes and is perfectly normal.

Respond to this video... Its called a gear whine which comes from gears moving at high speeds and such

Yep my 2004 with 84k does that too... I would say annoying but normal!

just the tranny :) kinda sounds like an old 747-200 takin off ^.^ pretty cool noise in my opinion :)
