Medevac (medical evacuation) Helicopter Crash

Helicopter crash attorney, Cara Luther, discusses what went wrong the night a Maryland State Police medevac Aerospatiale (Eurocopter) crashed near Andrews Air Force Base on September 27, 2008. She represents the mother of Ashley Younger, 17. Ashley and her friend were airlifted after a car accident. The pilot, one flight paramedic, one field provider, and Ashley, were killed when the pilot failed to follow instrument approach procedures and failed to properly control the aircraft and crashed in District Heights, Maryland. The other patient survived. The NTSB has since issued a probable cause of this helicopter accident at a public hearing which Cara Luther and her client attended.
