test of my new pups. fender strat - marshall dsl 401, with EH holy grail reverb mic'd on-axis with a shure sm57. test clean to dirty. beginning with the bridge pickup and moving to the neck.

What settings did you use in your DSL401?

pretty much all at 12. i think the crunch is with the gain about 2-3 o clock on the OD1 channel. then full gain on OD2 channel.

Nicely done ! It's so good to hear p/u's being put through their paces completely so listeners can get a true handle on how they sound ! I'm just checking out some small winders and might have to give BG a shot--they sounded great ! I 'm not a "high gain" guy and I'm glad to have heard the full spectrum you performed. Still it's good to hear the high gain stuff! You just never know what ya might end up playing !
