@glenisah immigration can be solved overnight, place a $50k fine on anyone caught employing illegal immigrants and watch how fast immigration dries up.

The employers are never prosecuted for breaking the law, its always the poor immigrant who is already abused by low pay and working conditions.

@dodododa your saying that CURRENTLY IF police know there are illegal immigrants in a certain location they cannot arrest them? So how does Sheriff Arpaio do it NOW?

This law is a nightmare for any citizen not illegal immigrants, police will be pulling people over for "looking foreign", demand papers and place them in jail.

Alberto ordered techniques like waterboarding that saved countless people, first in California, then to get info to kill Bin Laden. Gets blame, but no credit.

He's very pro-the rule of law most of the time. Very upstanding.

Conservatives don't see a person's race. They know the vast majority of other conservatives aren't racist, and they don't give in to racial identity politics.

Gonzo opposed Sotomayor, so unlike Powell, he's conservative. Liberals hate him. But he should oppose illegals more.

Gonzales is a real American who loves their country, it's just that he needs to get that illegals do not help our country in any way, shape, or form. Richardson is a corrupt creep who hates our country.

I like Gonzo, but he could have come off a lot stronger in support of Arizona's law. I mean, these people are leeching off of our country and breaking our laws. He said he disagreed with the GOP position about illegals and that he agreed with Richardson at a lot of parts. I wish when he said it's high time the federal government did it's job he elaborated that Obama and his successor Holder refuse to punish these illegals.

Just think, had Texas passed such a law 55 years ago, Alberto Gonzales wouldn't be here today.

They keep saying "immigration is a federal responsiblity", but the failure of the federal government has resulted in abdicating said responsibility. Arizona did what she had to do to protect her citizens. Also, the framers of the constitution believed in decentralized government and State's rights. If you're not from Arizona you have no room to talk, especially those slimy east coast politicians like foley.
