the vdrums link is down. I am finding it hard to comprehend the schematics of your circuit just by looking. Much respect for what you are doing, but I am intending to get a Alesis Surge 12" Hi-Hat to work with the controller.

@b3nnj1 The electronics are rather simple. The FSR has two leads. One lead of the FSR is connected to a small resistor. It does not matter which lead. The other side of the resistor is connected to the sleeve of the jack. The second lead from the FSR gets connected to the TIP. (If that does not vary the HH then connect to Ring)
The extra resistor allowes to pad the FSR, so that full pressure did not result in zero ohms. (I will need to get the value i used later)
