Burnout 3 - Frozen Peak S - Impassable tram of DOOM

Burnout 3 - I love the game. Mostly I play it online but sometimes I'll do some burning laps on the shorter tracks.

The pain of trying to set a lap record on a track like Frozen Peak Southbound with the last corner of DOOM (you'll see what I mean). You can have a dream lap all the way around and then meet the impassable tram blocking the entire corner.

Well I was feeling optimistic today so I gave it a go. See the end of my first flying lap set a new record with a clear corner. Then at the end of the second lap I did the impossible.

@AstralDragoon Thanks, it's great when you get into the zone. That was my second flying lap, I just beat my fastest time on the previous lap then did that one :) As for a triple takedown, Accidental Road Rage is my way too, but you can in a race with some aftertouch if you find a choke point.

@Fnordinary I've gotten a triple aftertouch takedown twice, although the second time it didn't get in quite quickly enough to register. Oddly, since posting my comment, I've gotten at least two more triple takedowns during Road Rage (I'm one of the people who had to switch to the 360 and replay the game, but now I'm 100% again). BTW, your tip on Mountain Parkway E. for the trailer takedown target was EXTREMELY helpful; that one always gave me grief...

@AstralDragoon I just lucked into finding that technique. I like how the game varies depending on what car class you choose. The Legendary Evil Max once got a 'Total Takedown' (all 5 opponents) I'd settle just for a 4-way one day :)

i've read all comments here. and your videos are very helpful. in fact, i only need those 6 takedowns to unlock the euro. 2 tram, 2 bus and 2 trailer. the rest of the achieves are done.i've only got a triple takedown twice,, the first one was in a road rage event. i made a double takedown that got "combined" with a psyche out in front of me. at the same time, i mean, i made the double takedown when the car in front had the psyche out.. it happened really fast so i didn't noticed..
