  • 0:59 , is she lip syncing Julia's voice?

  • i prefer english style scramble egges though, more because of its texture..

  • Awww, eggs, I have got to try this recipe. Thanks Marc. Also I am going to go the your restaurant, the Campanile :)

  • That IS scrambled eggs, as known in France. It' usually rich and custardy.

I prefer english style scrambled eggs myself, when done well. French style albeit in quick version as Peel makes it is too rich for my liking. I can only eat a portion of it.

  • That's disgusting. I want scrambled eggs, not a friggin coronary.

Cut the butter and cream by 75% (you absolutely do NOT need so much unless you wanna serve it in a GLASS), and then get back to me.

    Yuck.

  • @zatoth13 Not sure what your beef is with him but he is a culinary icon as is his ex, Nancy Silverton. LA sucks for food. Campanile is one of maybe 5, real gourmet kitchens still operating in LA. Puck is a joke in comparison (having worked in almost every Puck kitchen in LA, I'm qualified to make that judgement). Not sure what qualifies you but Peel is known for his down to earth persona & talent as a true unpretentious cook. LA greats: Bambu Jiraffe Mozza MA Maison L'Orangerie Campanile
  • she wasn't afraid to take on challenges, but apparently peel is a bit fearful about food critic bloggers. you'll never be as good as julia, bro! she had class!

  • Nice, similar to Ramsay's scrambled.

  • I went to cooking school over 15 years ago just to learn a few things as it is not my profession. This video was great!. It reminded me of why I love to create enjoyment through FOOD!..... I woke up early to cook breakfast for my wife....well...I used her favorite cheese instead of the recommended recipe.... We were both late for very work because of it!!.."how do you like your eggs Madame? scrambled or...?

Mark: Thanks for the reminder of what I can cook.

    Regards,

    Michael

  • HAHAHA I was just about to wrote something like that! XD
