MORGAN O'NEIL interview: "Solo

First time feature film Director, Morgan O'Neill spoke with The Movie Show Online about his film SOLO, its inception and execution.

O'Neill studied law before becoming an actor. He has acted, directed and produced a number of short films. SOLO is the first feature film he has written and directed.

O'Neill beat 1200 other would-be filmmakers to win the national scriptwriting initiative, Project Greenlight Australia. The win entitled him to a film production budget of $1,000,000.00 and SOLO is the result.

The Project Greenlight concept is the brainchild of Ben Affleck, Matt Damon and Chris Moore of LivePlanet in the USA. It is an initiative to foster budding new filmmakers.

SOLO is the inaugural Project Greenlight Australia feature film.
