I am sorry, but this just looked terrible, I think it was a poor adaptation; Misery just doesnt work too well on stage, the book is so intimate and visceral. You get the strongest sense of annie by her stony idle face, this was just overdramatic and the character development is lost. I think SK might agree it was an oogy cockadoodie adaptation.

I just got done watching the movie and the entire time I was thinking that it would be perfect for the stage...too bad I'll have to wait til I'm back in the US to see it...fat chance anybody down here in Chile is gonna put on a production of it...although SK is hugely popular down here and it can always be translated and a friend of mine is in with a local drama team...hmm...now the gears are turning :D
