As goshensquash pointed out, the squash stops flowing when the long end of the straw reaches the height of the squash in the first glass, not the height of the short end of the straw as I say in the video.

You also need to explain suction; the straw's there for a reason.
as the water runs down it sucks behind it as long as there is more water going down then up it works. And thats the best I can do lol.
