Greg Shirakyan, a developer on the Microsoft Robotics team shows us his robot that he built using the Microsoft Robotics Developer Studio 4 (RDS4) product, to replace photographers at parties or events. The robot wanders autonomously engaging people by detecting them using Kinect Skeletal Tracking and takes pictures. These pictures can also be uploaded to Flickr.

Ha! No robot that can replace a real photographer. Robots don't capture emotion. Robots do not know creativity.

I'd love to see Apple's version. Everyone would write software for it but only Apple would get paid.
