From the works of Living Enlightened Master Paramahamsa Nithyananda. In this clip taken from discourse titled "Music Your Avenue to Awareness" Swamiji tells us that most people really do not understand or want enlightenment. If the master wants to, even through a though the lamp of enlightenment can be transferred. The entire discourse may be ordered online at www.LifeBlissGalleria. com.

Please realise that masters use various techniques to shake up and awaken the disciple. For a sincere seeker the Master will always show the way.

predicted that in 2000 the West will still dominate Earth, but in the 21st century India will conquer her conquerors. Religion worldwide will regain its earlier importance, and world events will return to the East where civilization originated.

Will Durant foretold in The Story of Civilization,

"India will teach us the tolerance and gentleness of mature mind, understanding spirit and a unifying, pacifying love for all human beings."

  • of course "you" dont feel the need because what you "get" is the dissapearing of the wanter

  • thank you

  • To me, His comments don't mean the chances of it happening are as rare as the lottery. What I hear Him saying when He compares achieving enlightenment to winning the lottery is about the cost: benefit ratio. Amount of effort required to buy a lottery ticket is NOTHING compared to the result of winning millions. In the same way, all effort that we exert on the path is NOTHING compared to the experience of enlightenment that we 'get'. We don't realize what is available so we don't feel the need.

  • Nithyananda has said that one's progress doesn't depend upon the qualification of the guru but on the depth of surrender of the seeker. A seeker can become enlightened even with an unenlighted guru but even an enlightened guru can help a seeker who does not surrender.

Please search for 'Power of Devotion: Story of Ram Das' in the Nithyananda youtube archives for this.

    Nithyanandam!

  • I'm obsessed, is that intense enough. unable to live the material life-ambition, freindship & family have fallen away. food, sleep and work seem pointless. and now you tell me its a lottery! that misery continues life after life until my one in a million chance comes up? i fear enlightenment is just another delusion, that swamiji is playing a cruel joke and feeding off the admiration us seekers have for him. I pray that this should not be true. i glimpse bliss-please assure me its not a dream.

  • Please Guide me to find the KEY Swamigi.

    Thanking You

    Brema.
