  • What box are you using on this thing?

  • People have made 830+ rwhp on the stock bottom end of these engines. And ran them for a pretty long time. Like always, it's all in the tune.

  • Im just saying that 600 is pretty safe. He ran the ls6 for a long while and finally blew it up a couple weeks ago. If this car is running a 408 it means he is not using the stock crank or pistons and probably not the rods. this would be a fun as hell car i bet.

  • I know someone who put down 717 on a bone stock ls6 with a tt kit on it through a 4l60e

  • lol my stock cube, Stock bottom end LS1 makes 624rwhp on a few bolt ons, a good tune and a good shot of spray...so yeah all the LS1 haters comment on "only 600hp"...only 600hp with my 3600 circle D stall and 3.73 gears on slicks goes high 9s daily street car...LS motor=Gods motor..nuff said

  • crazy wog with that cheese eating grin , clasic

  • Gotta love LS cars!! Nice job, guys!

  • not at all, i was actually responding to the erson that said thats alot of money just to get 600. and it would depend on what transmission, converter, drive shaft, rear end were used. i was assuming all of the above were upgraded to heavier, more durable units and an automatic transmission.

  • yea but i like how you said, "can only handle 800hp" like 800hp sucks or something. and the rwhp rating would be more accurate @ 685rwhp with 800 crank hp.

  • i was talking about the engine block only being able to handle 800hp safely, the stock cranks they put in these things are insane.
