The Darkest Nights As I Lay Dying Guitar Cover AWESOME GUITAR TONE

This is a perfect guitar cover of AILD The Darkest Nights :P I transcribed this by ear, so I feel pretty proud of myself :D I recorded this on the same night that I recorded my first version here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0yETknOqtc

This version is just me playing it with a guitar patch I made on my Zoom G1. I like the sound of this patch a lot so I just wanted to show you guys the patch I made while covering this song, if YouTube's conversion didn't decrease the sound quality :P

Recorded with an ESP LTD F-250 guitar plugged into a Zoom G1 multi-effect guitar pedal plugged into the microphone port of my laptop :D

it's not a patch number, i made the preset myself :) the patches are factory made presets ;)

yea, i used pu distortion, compression at 9, and no amp sim. other than that, u can mess with the EQ as much as u like :)

tell me if u get it right, if not, i'll go find my effect pedal and tell u the exact settings lol, i use a line 6 pocked pod now ;)

@heretic4lyfe Nah dude.. it sounds like its got plenty of treble and mids, but I agree, cutting the bass would be good.

He needs more higher mid range tho.

I don't know how you say this is an awesome guitar tone, sucks fucking nuts in my opinion.

Boost the mids, add some treble, some presence, cut the bass a bit, add a bit more gain.
