Partial solar eclipse seen from space

NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory caught the Moon slipping in front of the face of the Sun on March 4, 2011. This view is in the far ultraviolet and shows lots of solar activity like sunspots (which are bright in the UV) and prominences.
The Moon appears to change direction because SDO is orbiting the Earth. This is difficult to explain using just words, so I have created a diagram on my blog. It's the same effect that makes planets seem to reverse direction over several days (called "retrograde motion") or race cars seem to move left-to-right on the near side of the racetrack and right-to-left on the far side.

This dude is funny. 1st of i would like to say, that's a nice work you've done.. 2nd i'd like to say its a nice shape of a finger. And dude you're making these videos from 1 clip. You also don't know anything about space, You do this because you need the money, I suggest you get a better director for your movies. If anyone fell for this i'm laughing at you. It just doesn't make sense to make movies without sound or information i'm sorry, i don't think anyone beliefs in this crap.

@danielmartinex its a theory called the parallax. It happens when our earth is spinnig during the lunar eclipse. something similiar also happens with mars. Also this is like grade 9 science.
