This film combines a documentary style with dramatic reenactment to bring light to children's lives under curfew. As residents of the occupied West Bank, children are subject to curfews imposed by the Israeli military. During times of severe confrontation, such as the first and second Intifadas (Palestinian uprisings, based mostly on nonviolent resistance), families are forced indoors for most of the day. As the film shows, even when they leave their homes with permission, they may be harassed or attacked by soldiers. Routine raids on their homes are also common, as depicted.
The children who made this film based actual events they had witnessed or lived, themselves.
