Yeah.. Shame.. when he signed for leeds from Preston we thought we'd found a goal king to get us back to the top.. Like many others have said, he seems to perform above his level whenever he puts on that green shirt.

David Healy.... criminally misused at every club he's been at, Healy needs to feed off a target man, for Northern Ireland thats been James Quinn, and now Kyle Lafferty, give him that and a few half chances... he'll score goals you'll never forget.

Shame he doesn't play so well in Fulham and he will probably play once again in championship as he did with Leeds.

if healy was english, their is no doubt he would've received something rediculous like knighthood for his great acheivement. he'd be steeped in history as one of greats-which he is.
but because he is from our wee country of norn iron, the english overlook him as they cannot accept he is as good as any of their strikers.

The BBC sports dept experts Alan Hanson, Alan Shearer and others including Ian Wright who begrudged N.Ireland their win over super duper England in Belfast. It would be nice of you to recognise that the new European goal scoring record holder is none other than DAVID HEALY. No not David Beckham, Nancy Lampard, or any of the rest of the England team. If David was English you would be advocating that his record breaking goal would be in the running for goal of the tournament. Micky
