Bombasta's last song of the evening on April 16, 2010, at the Limelight. Several bands performed such as Ollin from East Los Angeles with locals from San Antonio, and a special guest band from Oregon, spanish rock. The night started with Los Nahuatlatos followed by Ollin, and finally Bombasta, a local group band composed of musicians from Austin and San Antonio, and the surrounding Texas area. Roberto Livar sings and DJ's at the same time with artistic fusions of cumbia, rap, hip-hop, and reggae, an awesome combination of beats. Great job to Ali, Roberto, and Jacinto whom I know, and a great performance and congratulations to all the band members who contributed to this wonderful artistic night. The Limelight was located on the St. Mary's strip, a history of live bands performing in San Antonio throughout the years on the strip brought memories of the days of la Semana Alegre and when the days when St. Mary's street was closed so that entertaiment and bar hopping was the norm. It was really hot inside, but nobody complained. We all had a great time. Lots of dancing. Good music. And cheap lonestar beer at $2.00 a pop. The Limelight was like a tattoo convention of artwork on the walls. Thank you Bombasta for putting on a great show. At the end of the show, I heard Roberto give thanks to Victor for making it happen. Victor, wherever you are, thanks for making it happen. Me and my mujer enjoyed the show.
