When Villagers played this at Shepherd's Bush I was right at he front and I just cried and cried. Conor saw me and smiled when the song was over. Best gig of my life.

Even though they're lyrically different and are very different vocally, Conor O'Brien reminds me a lot of a happier sounding Conor Oberst (who I am a huge fan of, btw :P) They even look a little alike. Just an observation from someone who has just fallen madly in love with this artist XD

Conor: We were lucky enough to see you and the band in Boston on 11-4-10 (driving 2hrs from Hartford) and you brought your insight and depth of feeling to that show. Your group hug offstage before it all began prepared me for what what was to come, something deep, heartfelt, important. I've been listening to music for many years; Villagers are something special -- I'm grateful that I can now proclaim to have seen Conor J O'Brien in concert early in his career. Your album is masterful, thank you.
