Oh this is akward.... Considering he really did leave. NEWS was the first Johnny's group I ever liked, and I was so upset when I watched johnnys new year countdown and there were only four out of the 8 original members there...

@japandaisukidesu I think you are misunderstanding the use of the word rival. Pi did not mean NEWS is his competition in that way. He is stating it as a compliment. I suppose a more accurate translation of his message is, I look forward in meeting the members again in the same footing. Granted he expects and believes NEWS4 will make it even without him. Rivals = equals.

@kakliza The departure from the group has been brought up since 2010 and once again in June. Ideally the agency's plan was to continue the initial plan of 4 direction for NEWS. A lot of people seem to be misunderstanding the situation given the NEWS BLACKOUT. Pi is certainly made into the bad guy but looking deeply at the situation atm, its clear that there are indeed forces behind what is happening to NEWS and ex members. This is 4TOPS all over again except worst.
