In the land of Nod, just east of Eden, a master storyteller relates the story of Genesis. He tells the spirit of God moving over the waters, of the creation of all the plants and animals, and of their naming by Adam. He tells of the creation of Eve. Then Adam and Eve disobey God's command and eat the forbidden fruit. For their disobedience, God expels Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden. To the children listening, the story lesson in the danger of disobeying God's will. The storyteller reminds them that Genesis means "The Beginning." And for all mankind, for all the ages, this is just the beginning.

  • I had no idea Tim Curry voiced the Serpent!

  • Notice how Adam blames Eve and Eve blames the Serpent....denial of accountability...

  • @EmetTalmudim6 Well, that's not who I was talking about. I already know this stuff you're telling me, and it seems kind of random. I was talking abou the storyteller and suddenly you were talking about God's ability to know everything.

  • @JakobDailes

Note; Either none of the people God called were looking for Him or none of them were looking to be used by Him in the way they were or none of them were looking to be used by Him at all. Rather God found them.

Contrast that with the fact that Buddah, Muhammad etc. were looking for God or to change things. Thus they were most likely to have an agenda or an axe to grind(however posative their intent).

  • @JakobDailes I wasn't referring to the story teller in the video, but to the Author(God) of the Bible.

  • @EmetTalmudim6 Um... That storyteller isn't God. Did you actually read my entire comment? And watch the vid?

  • @nagaking07 no problem; God is the author of chemistry & established the world by it-among the other natural laws-

  • @JakobDailes Problem; MOST of the Books of the Bible are eyewitness accounts. So far as those that aren't (Genesis, 1 & 2 Samuel 1 & 2 Kings & 1 & 2 Chronicles & possibly Job) that's where Divine Inspiration comes in; If Someone Who was there when it hapened, knows everything, & cannot sin(God)tells you or me what to write down & how to compile it, it stands to reason you can take it to the bank that He knows what He's talking about.

  • Storyteller: Yes, kids, even though, to be correct it's probably around 6000-4000BC right now, I know all about the Bible (a book only compiled and named around 100 or 200AD), but also about Genesis, not written till around 1420BC or later.

  • Tim Curry was too seductive for them.

  • You should post the credits, i'd like to see the pictures at the end.

  • @8thPrincessofHeart1 That is somewhat true to an extent....
