No matter what people say... that is cool as hell... even if it never runs a vehicle.

@jmartr34 Can't*

@Obito313 I am all for electric motors, but the problem at the moment is battery technology. Also, there aren't any charging stations except your house and since you can force too much electricity into a battery at once with out overheating it is kind of rough right now lol. Once as battery technology increases greatly which is happening now, we will see many more electric vehicles on the road. Atleast that's what I think. Electric motors for the win!

I do not understand why we do not use these in cars :/ i mean it uses DC to start the motor but AC to start the pistons it would be more efficient than Gasoline :/ what do you think about it?

@DrJez1 - Yeah, I get what your saying. Thanks.

@dauer962roadcar it's something to do with the alignment of the atoms inside the magnet. they are aligned in the direction that gives high forces in one direction, but then in the other direction (horizontally as you say) the atom alignments are perpendicular to the desired force, so no force (or minimal force due to not perfect atom alignment) is achieved.
something like that

There is a question about magnets that no one can seem to give me an answer to: Why can magnets lift huge weight vertically, but not push it horizontally? I would appreciate an answer if anyone could enlighten me.

@reelphresh Sounds great go get it patented

@DrJez1 I kinda had and idea like this but use very large magnets and allow gravity to pull them threw tubs to create power to drive an electromagnet to fire the piston back up. The longer the drop the more power that woud be able to be stored to fire it. the rods would be attached to the top of the pistons to connect with the crank shaft that would sit atop of the engine block.

esta chingon tu motor , luego esplicas chido como funciona lo del sensor
why not with a gradual derivation electric by alternator ? and if electromagnetic you can to grow the power why not with the enter air turbine

It's a model and there's lots that can be done to make this a usable type of engine. Maybe your the guy to take this to the next level.
