As Australia's only multicultural broadcaster, SBS exists to share the stories from all humanity. On the day that the United Nations announced the world population was now 7 billion, we launched a campaign exploring the potential of the world's seven billionth story. It was supported with the new brand positioning "Seven Billion Stories and counting...".
It was a provocative standpoint. Instead of focusing on the negatives of the global population milestone like other broadcasters, we marked the occasion by reflecting on humanity's great potential. Every life, every story, adds to the diversity of human culture and deepens our understanding of each other.
