Those Turkish ice cream vendors will make you work for that one scoop of ice cream. It's all in good fun and pretty entertaining. Part of the cost of the ice cream is actually for the entertainment, but that doesn't take away from the great taste of the ice cream as well. Unlike other ice cream, Turkish ice cream, also known as "maras" is very chewy and stretchy. It's fun to eat and tasty.

This IS turkish ice cream. He just dressed up as an Ottoman. That's how they used to dress up before Ataturk changed it. The turkish ice cream is the best, they play jumping ropes with it, can you believe that? Cok guzel dondurma ya, Halil Pasaya mi gitsem ne yapsam. Halal Ice Cream. The best
