first I drop down into frame, hover taxi, then drop to the ground.
It's almost spring! A little windy today, but the Mosquito helicopter handles great.

  • Hey Larry ..love the vids..why did you choose the open concept model instead of the XE/fiber body, and or what would you recommend..

  • Because it's a 100% legal Part 103 ultralight, although the XEL (with floats) can qualify also because there is an allowance for having the floats.

  • Do you wave back at children on the ground ?

  • A riding leaf-blower!

  • Wow, it's scary when you chop the throttle to land. You're supposed to maintain rpm and descend by using the collective. You won't need to correct by using the cyclic and pedals if you do it right. No offense intended - but chopping the throttle is a wreck waiting to happen.

  • Wow-

You have come a long way from 'the good ol' days' when you first started hovering.

    Boo-Yah!
