While supposedly green, the leader of the Green Party of Canada, Elizabeth May, promotes her party, with every election, with materials that are harmful to the environment. While not even elected to a seat yet, she has done a backroom deal with the Liberals to limit choices during the 2008 federal election, and accepted a floor-crossing Liberal into her party. She also accepts Erich Jacoby-Hawkins as her Barrie, Ontario candidate, even though he was ruled to have libelled the manager of the Libertarian candidate for the Barrie riding during the 2008 federal election.

  • I'm not sure what you're trying to get at with this video, but if hurting the Greens was the point, I think you hurt yourself more.

    A really vulgar video.

  • @12stringsforme

What? Not sure? E.May is an American, and a hypocrite. The Greens are selling plastic and metal crap to promote themselves, which is hypocritical. Anything else?

  • ..yeah, you failed to convince me the relevance of this video.

Gandhi was a lawyer too, you know.

  • @darrenroskam It's really a shame when public service for Elizabeth means putting up with trolls and cyberstalkers like you. Seriously dude, get a shrink and stop obsessing over the minutia like bumper stickers and who may be eating imported bagels.

  • Friend, I believe you are taking Shakespeare too literally. Lawyers are not all bad, and it's irrational to judge a group based on the actions of a few. Personally, I like the idea of a politician who is educated in a relevant field. In addition, we need a leader who can negotiate with the BQ because I feel that they are becoming more alienated from the rest of the Canadian parties with each election. I do not agree with you about Elizabeth May and in BC the greens are great! Have a nice day.

  • Roskam scores again! Many good points made, and entertainingly, too.

  • E.May did libel him and continues to do so, saying she fought against "anti-semitism." There wasn't any from the guy. He just copied and pasted and commented on it.

Even Ed Broadbent disapproved of what E.May and Dion had done. Leader's courtesy? Then let's have more and more of your courtesy, until there are no choices, at all, right? Those bums were not doing the voters a courtesy. You're ridiculous, Erich. Shut up and go make your own video. If you can. Correct your website's spelling, too.

  • No, the Greens just say we need to use local resources. Then they import their swag. Make up your Green minds. Nobody said no trade with other nations, but make your damn shirts here, and live it, or offer free graphics for iron-ons, for making your own shirts. The Greens and many of their supporters do NOT live green. There are no bike stickers, or else they would be on the website. And if there are, why do you service cars there, but not bikes? Can't add it to the website, for some reason?

  • Then why doesn't it say, "For bulk orders only?" Because it's not meant for that. If it was, then it would be a private, email-only service for the local ridings.

What if you have a friend, and want two stickers? Trick question. Nobody wants a Green sticker as a gift.

You don't get it. A Green Party bumper sticker, on a car, is ridiculous.
