@PAC0TAC0 yep :) you are right. haven't noticed that at first time :)

@qazeder no its actually a gm based motor its not one of the older saab motors its based of the lsj used in the cobalts and its a varyant of that called the lk9. the motor in that car is actually a gm motor.

@PAC0TAC0 well the block left alomst untouched since probably 1987... so i don't see anything "gm" about it. yes, gm used this same engine in opel/vauxahal etc.
saab used gm's crap like 2.2,1.9 tid and 2.8 petrol. maybe i've forgotten something...
