@vwiberg79, the same light would be fine however I would like to see a light weight and maybe smaller version made. Perhaps it would be best if they made two Astro Disco 3s. The regular one for large nightclubs and a light weight smaller version (with the same features and movement mind you) for mobile DJs.

@trompomix, your a good man. I have no doubt that the machines you built at Clay Paky made many people very happy. I wish they still made these units.

@vintagelightman03, I know I've been hawking that. That seller is an ass, that would be the price for a brand new MIB. He or she probably saw all of the rave reviews on this site and thinks it can get that kind of money for a rather rusty example. I heard a rumor via Lighting and Sound America that Clay Paky might be repressing these lights.... er re-manufacturing. Lets hope thats the case because I still want one.

Can you show some pics of what the prism lense looks like or what the optics look like around the lamp? I have a Astrodisco 3 but not with a prism and would like to fabricate some prism lenses. Thanks Matt
